PS: The blog name is not random. Egypt is roughly 95 percent desert. Dry, alternately hot and freezing, empty, inhospitable and deadly but also alluringly beautiful in the barrenness of rock and shifting sand, a metaphor perhaps for the world in which we live. How does one survive a place like that?
The prophet wrote: “A voice cries: In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”(Isaiah 40:3) This blog is my small contribution to that highway project. May it help you find the way to rivers of living water! (John 4:38)
